Tulsa Hispanic Chamber Honored For Growth
October 3, 2008 -- The Tulsa World reports the Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was recently honored as one of the nation's top small chambers by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber was recognized for its rapid growth and new programs.
"It really shows how much we have grown in the last year and a half," says Francisco Trevino, Executive Director of the Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in an interview with the World.
Trevino says Tulsa’s Hispanic Chamber has grown to include 239 members with 35% of the member companies owned by Hispanics.
The World reports the organization will soon start a series of business seminars aimed at educating Hispanic business owners.
