Company Will Create Over 200 Jobs and Invest More Than $15 Million

June 24, 2010 -- Citi Trends, Inc., a value-priced retailer of urban fashion apparel and accessories for the entire family, today announced plans to open a 425,000 square foot apparel distribution center in Roland, Oklahoma.

David Alexander, Citi Trends President and Chief Executive Officer, said the company will hire between 200 and 250 new employees as it ramps to full production over the next two years. The company had looked at a number of sites in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas before deciding to acquire the existing facility in Roland.

Citi Trends, which is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, has 420 stores in 24 states. The Roland facility will complement the Company’s distribution centers in Savannah and Darlington, South Carolina.  Citi Trends’ common stock trades on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol “CTRN”.  The Company’s website address is www.cititrends.com.

Alexander said Citi Trends is on an aggressive store growth track that will include numerous markets in the Midwestern and Western regions of the United States, and that is one of many reasons the company selected Oklahoma.

"The centralized location with easy access to large population markets, a high quality workforce and a great facility were the key factors in why we chose Oklahoma to continue building the Citi Trends brand," Alexander said. "We are eager to equip the building and begin distribution in Roland, and we look forward to being part of the Sequoyah County business community."

Oklahoma Department of Commerce Deputy Director for Business Services, Sandy Pratt, said Oklahoma is recognized nationally for its progressive business climate.

"We are excited that Citi Trends chose to locate its distribution center in Oklahoma," Pratt said. "They are creating new jobs in Eastern Oklahoma and will benefit from a talented workforce known for its work ethic."

Jeff Roberts, Roland Economic Development Committee chairman, said "Community leaders expect the Company will be a great corporate partner and will help us to further enhance our local economy."
