In this issue: With the 2010 Census rapidly approaching, the US Census Bureau is entering its peak hiring period; while the state has not grown enough to recapture a lost 6th Congressional District after the 2000 Census, the state does not appear to be at risk for losing another district and over the last three years, the US Department of Labor and the US Census Bureau have partnered to provide work shed and labor pool analysis via the online tool OnTheMap.
