Oklahoma City, Tulsa, And Lawton Make Forbes' Best Places For Business List

March 30, 2009 - Forbes ranks Oklahoma City 12th and Tulsa 47th on its list of "Best Places for Businesses and Careers." Lawton was ranked 102nd among small metropolitan areas.

Oklahoma City ranks 23rd in business costs, 31st in expected job growth and 97th in education.

Tulsa ranks 53rd in cost of doing business, 30th in projected job growth and 128th in education.

Forbes ranked 200 metropolitan areas on a variety of criteria including cost of doing business, projected job growth and education.

Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Lawton, each received an even higher ranking from Forbes compared to last year.
