Oklahoma Wind Energy Conference Features National Experts

REVOLUTION Wind Energy Conference December 2 and 3 in Oklahoma City

October 29, 2009 -- REVOLUTION, the 2009 Oklahoma Wind Energy Conference is scheduled for December 2 and 3, 2009 in downtown Oklahoma City at the Cox Convention Center.  The conference will feature nationally recognized experts, including Marc Spitzer, commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; Denise Bode, chief executive officer of American Wind Energy Association; and R. James Woolsey, venture partner and senior advisor at VantagePoint Venture Partners and former director, U.S. Central Intelligence (1993-1995).

The conference will include timely seminars about wind energy growth for Oklahoma and America, including discussions about finance, landowner perspectives, policy, infrastructure, and other key issues, including:

• Wind energy economics with developer and landowner perspectives
• Transmission and distribution policy and planning 
• Wind energy, the environment and wildlife issues
• Integrating natural gas with renewable energy
• Updates on state and federal policy and legislation
• Oklahoma’s education programs
