Minority Business Council

Governor's Minority Business CouncilThe Governor’s Minority Business Council was established in March 2019 by Governor Kevin Stitt and Sean Kouplen, Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce & Workforce Development, to help make Oklahoma a more inclusive and attractive business environment for people of all ethnicities and backgrounds. The council is the first of its kind in Oklahoma history.

Mission

The Governor’s Minority Business Council of Oklahoma grows its diverse communities with a Global perspective to move Oklahoma forward.

Oklahoma Minority Business Survey

Share your ideas with the Governor’s Minority Business Council and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce about how the state can better serve the minority business community.

Survey responses are anonymous. Survey results will be viewed by GMBC members and Commerce employees and will be used to develop strategies to help minority businesses thrive in Oklahoma.
