As a retail business, when may I reopen?

Retail businesses may reopen now provided they have the appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place.

When can stores reopen in shopping malls?

Anchor stores that have outside access (separate from the main entrance to the mall) may reopen now. Other stores should visit with mall operators regarding policies on limiting the number of people who may enter.

When can donation centers, such as Goodwill Industries, reopen?

Donation centers that accept donations and offer retail services may reopen now with appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place. For donations, they should process donations in a safe manner, including retrieving donations from the trunk of donor’s vehicles or offering contactless donation drop-offs to minimize direct contact, handling donations with gloves and personal protective equipment, using a variety of sanitizing supplies, and setting aside donations in containers for several days.

Can furniture stores offer in-home deliveries?

Yes, it is the responsibility of the store and the homeowner to schedule deliveries if either the homeowner or the delivery personnel do not feel comfortable making a delivery.

When can team sports resume?

If organizers for team sports choose, practices for team sports, including Little League, basketball, baseball, soccer, etc. that occur at sporting venues and facilities may reopen on May 1. Organized games, competitions, and tournaments may resume on May 15. This also includes tumbling/cheer/gymnastics facilities, dance studios, ice/roller skating rinks, and swimming schools. The period of time between May 1 and May 15 is intended to allow participants to practice and reduce injuries when organized sports begin on May 15. 

When can rodeos and racetracks reopen?

They may reopen on May 1 with the appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place.

How many people can attend group events (at entertainment venues, bowling alleys, sports venues, etc)?

During Phase 1, groups are limited to 10. During Phase 2, groups are limited to 50.

What guidelines should I follow if I come into close contact with others in my work, such as a gymnastics coach or horseback riding instructor?

These facilities can reopen on May 1. It is up to the instructors, individuals, and guardians to determine their comfortability with close contact. They should ensure the safety of the sport or activity they are doing. Individuals should not attend these activities if they are experiencing any symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

Can full service restaurants with bars reopen on May 1?

Yes, but they should ensure the appropriate social distancing guidelines of 6 feet and sanitation measures.

Can quick service restaurants offer in-restaurant dining?

Yes, quick service restaurants may offer in-restaurant dining on May 1 and should follow the social distancing and sanitation guidelines put in place for full service and quick service restaurants.

When can casinos reopen?

Casinos are the responsibility of the Tribal Nations. Tribal nations will determine their own schedule for reopening their businesses, services and casinos. If requested, we will partner with the tribal nations to publicize their guidance. For our mutual benefit, we hope to align with federal guidelines.

When can museums reopen and what is considered a large group?

Museums are considered entertainment venues and may reopen on May 1 with the appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place. Group sizes should be limited so that they can maintain six feet of distancing between customer groups, rather than individuals.

When can tour operators (charter buses) resume operations?

Charter buses may resume operations in Phase 3 (goal of June 1) with appropriate sanitation and social distancing measures.

What are the size limitations for group parties at entertainment venues, such as Top Golf or bowling alleys?

During Phase 1, groups should be limited to no more than 10 people. During Phase 2, groups should be limited to 50. At all times they should ensure six feet of social distancing between customer groups.

When can RV trailer parks reopen?

RV trailer parks may reopen on April 24.

Can indoor and outdoor swimming pools at hotels reopen?

Indoor and outdoor swimming pools at hotels may reopen now with the appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place.

When can daycare services reopen?

Daycare services are an essential service and may reopen now.

How many stylists can be working in a salon at a given time?

Only enough that will permit social distancing of six feet between work stations. This will depend on the size of salons.

When can dental offices reopen?

Dental offices may reopen for non-emergencies on April 30. Emergency dental procedures may happen now.

Can photography studios reopen?

Photography studios are included on the essential industries list and may reopen now with the appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place. If their services include close contact, such as with newborn children, it is up to the photographers and parents to determine their comfortability with close contact.

When can weddings resume and how many people should be allowed?

Larger weddings may resume on May 15 with appropriate social distancing guidelines in place. Individuals should consult with the wedding venues to ensure appropriate social distancing and the maximum number of guests. They could offer seating with six feet distance between family groups and/or alternating rows or pews. Wedding ceremony venues should follow guidance for places of worship. Wedding reception venues should follow guidance for restaurants.

When can funerals resume and how many people should be allowed?

Larger funerals may resume on May 15 with appropriate social distancing guidelines in place. Individuals should consult with the venues to ensure appropriate social distancing and the maximum number of guests. They could offer seating with six feet distance between family groups and/or alternating rows or pews. Funeral service venues should follow guidance for places of worship. Funeral reception venues should follow guidance for restaurants.

When can places of worship resume classes (e.g. Sunday school, Bible study, etc.)?

Classes and other programs held at places of worship may resume now with appropriate social distancing and sanitation guidelines in place.

When can medical spas reopen?

Medical spas may reopen on April 24 and should follow the social distancing and sanitation guidelines put in place for spas and tanning salons.

What are the guidelines for HOA (Home Owners Association) events?

It is up to the individual HOAs to determine when they want to organize HOA events. They should follow social distancing guidelines for any events organized.

When can neighborhood pools reopen?

It is up to the neighborhoods to determine when they wish to reopen community pools. They should follow sanitation and social distancing best practices.

What are the guidelines for common areas in apartment communities?

It is up to the individual apartment community to determine how they wish to use the common areas. They should follow sanitation and social distancing best practices.

What are the guidelines for individuals wishing to travel to Oklahoma and stay the night in a hotel?

There are no restrictions for those traveling to Oklahoma. Anyone is welcome to visit Oklahoma and stay in our hotels.

What are the occupancy guidelines for organized sporting events?

For sporting practices, organizers and coaches can consider staggering their practice days to ensure social distancing. During Phase 2 of the OURS plan, sporting events are encouraged to occur where social distancing may be implemented. For outdoor events this may be easier. For indoor sporting events, groups are recommended to be no more than 50 people. Organizers and coaches may consider allowing athletes to spread out of areas that they typically congregate such as dugouts or benches.

When will nursing homes reopen?

To be determined. The current guidelines are to ensure the health and safety of the elderly. Please continue to check back for further information on the reopening date of nursing homes.

When can dog training facilities reopen?

Dog training facilities are grouped with pet groomers and mobile pet groomers and are allowed to reopen as of April 24, 2020.

When are garage sales allowed?

Garage sales may resume on May 15, during Phase 2 of the OURS plan. Groups are limited to 50 people, should be outdoors, and allow for social distancing. Individual cities may determine to allow for garage sales sooner if they wish.

When can in-person auctions resume?

In-person auctions may resume on May 15, during Phase 2 of the OURS plan. Groups are limited to 50 people, should be outdoors, and allow for social distancing. Individual cities may determine to allow for in-person auctions sooner if they wish.

When can estate sales resume?

Estate sales may resume on June 1. Individual cities may determine to allow for estate sales sooner if they wish.

When will large public gatherings be allowed?

Large public gatherings will be allowed by Phase 3 of the OURS plan. Continue to check for additional guidelines and information.
