Workforce Potential Brings TTEC to Oklahoma City

Earlier this year, TTEC Holdings, Inc. announced that it will open its latest Humanify™ Customer Engagement Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The business attraction was a result of a collaborative effort by the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, City of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Department of Commerce and Oklahoma Works. The center opening represents up to 350 new jobs in the Greater Oklahoma City area.

TTEC chose the Oklahoma City market due to its community-wide focus on education with a wealth of community colleges and technical schools such as Francis Tuttle, in addition to its significant military and veteran population.

“We believe that active military, veterans, and military spouses have been prepared through services with a high level of professionalism and superior communication skills. Proficiencies gained in problem-solving and leadership makes these heroes qualified to take on TTEC’s most innovative and challenging project,” said Clayton Cooper, Director of Operations, TTEC. “We also value their hands-on experience with globalization because we know it means they are prepared to interact with our clients and employees around the world.”

The company is currently operating in a temporary workspace while their permanent space is under construction at the 7725 Connect campus. TTEC expects to be fully operational in November. Until then, the company is holding open interviews at the nearby Francis Tuttle Reno Campus.

“During this initial ramp up, we are hiring those with customer service experience whom we will train to become licensed insurance claims adjusters serving members and families of those that have served,” said Cooper. “We’ve found the talent in the Oklahoma workforce to take education seriously and is very service-minded. They have been able to adeptly learn the skills needed to pass the licensing exams and provide the quality service this customer base deserves.”

“We are proud that another technology and services company has chosen Oklahoma for its latest operation,” said Sean Kouplen, Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development. “Our business climate, skilled workforce, workforce training and collaborative environment continue to make an impact on companies looking to expand. We appreciate TTEC for choosing Oklahoma and look forward to seeing the company succeed in our state.”
