The Oklahoma Department of Commerce Aerospace Commerce Economic Services (ACES) team and KIHOMAC, an Oklahoma City-based aerospace and defense manufacturing, engineering and services company, announced plans for a significant expansion of KIHOMAC’s Oklahoma City operations during the 2026 AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.
“KIHOMAC’s continued growth in Oklahoma City represents more than an expansion of our infrastructure,” said KIHOMAC Chief Growth Officer Brad Goodwin. “It underscores our commitment to the Air Force, Airmen and warfighters who rely on our aerospace sustainment solutions every day. We are proud to strengthen the network of companies supporting Tinker Air Force Base and to partner with the ACES team as we continue to invest in our people, our capabilities and the state of Oklahoma.”
The planned expansion is a $25 million capital investment that includes an approximately 130,000-square-foot facility, significantly increasing KIHOMAC’s capacity to support Tinker Air Force Base and the surrounding aerospace and defense community.

National industry events such as the AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference, where KIHOMAC participated as an Oklahoma industry partner, provide opportunities for Oklahoma companies to showcase their capabilities, develop new business relationships and highlight continued investment in the state. Aerospace and defense, Oklahoma’s second-largest and fastest-growing industry, experienced another year of massive growth in 2025 after securing $450 million in new capital investment. That investment came from 37 new or expanding businesses in Oklahoma, creating more than 1,300 new jobs.
