Another Oklahoma industrial park recently received “Site Ready” certification from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Midwest City’s Soldier Creek Industrial Park (SCIP) has been officially recognized as being “Site Ready” and is among 18 other light industrial parks in the state that hold this certification.
The combination of the state’s strategic location in Middle America, abundant skilled and low-cost labor, a pro-business environment along with a relatively low cost of living provides an impressive slate of benefits on which to build and establish a business.
Being “Site Ready” means there is adequate workforce within the area, the site is properly zoned, and all utilities are in place.
SCIP is served by a five-lane U.S. highway, which makes Interstate 35 less than 6-minutes west. The Interstate 35 connection also quickly links the park to Interstate 40 or Interstate 44. Will Rogers World Airport is less than 30 minutes away, and the Port of Catoosa is a two hour drive. The A-OK Railroad operates a short line track the abuts the south side of the park and rail service is available. The park is also located in close proximity to both Rose State College and Mid-Del Technology Center making employee training easy and convenient.
